Coastal Custodians Holiday Program 2025
Interested in nature and the outdoors? Join the Coastal Custodian school holiday program for environmental, outdoor and nature-based activities. Includes six school holiday activities for $120 across 3 school holiday periods.
Program includes:
- Learn how to spot whales and identify our local dolphins by name
- Seek out the hidden crabs, fish and other marine animals on the beach and discover their secrets
- Discover the treasures hiding on Granite Island with a biodiversity treasure hunt
- Explore the environment with science technology
- Combined group art mural at the SA Whale Centre
Activities include:
- Big Duck Dolphin watch survey (2hrs)
- Granite Island Biodiversity Treasure Hunt (2hrs)
- Beachcombing with a Marine Biologist (2hrs)
- First Nations Workshop & Beach games with Indigenous Educator
- While Spotter Program and Training
- Collective Art Project with Stephen Hedges, a local artist and highly experienced art teacher (2hrs)
